Charitable Support

ZEIDAN EYE CARE CENTRE is an advocate of several charitable causes. Over the past 27 years, ZEIDAN Limited has helped raise over £570,000 to charitable causes involving the community and heart breaking children charities. Chaaban Zeidan personally was the drive behind several projects and was privileged to be part of this worthwhile role. This lead to Chaaban Zeidan receiving the Gold Medical Award and National Award for community care and great contribution to charitable causes. However, whilst one cannot put one charity above the other, and all are worth the attention, ZEIDAN Ltd, opted to help the vulnerable and disabled and chosen Children as the group to support. 

Our journey to putting a smile back into our community started in 1985 when we organized the first ever Spectacle Fashion show at Moore Hall hotel- showing the delight of our exclusive range and special service- all funds were raised to help the Hydrotherapy Spa at Good Hope Hospital and the Local Cottage Hospital. In 1986 we embarked on an annual special Christmas Party for over 120 children with special needs – All children were treated to funfair of activities, High Claire School choir, stage acting and magic show by POG the Wizard, feast galore with mince pies and ice cream- and the ultimate Christmas visitor, Santa Clause with presents for every child. The army of helpers and volunteers were wonderful and their support was remarkable. We carried this for 11 years.  We also supported and heavily involved with the Sutton Coldfield Fun Run charitable venue, an excellent venue led by the late Roy Spare, a remarkable man and was dearest best man. Zeidan Ltd, turned its attention to  KIDS Charity – Sutton Coldfield with Chaaban Zeidan Chairing the fund raising committee – we were very proud to have been privileged in giving some help to Enable disabled kids and their families to enjoy their lives- KIDS vision is a world in which all disabled children and young people realise their aspirations and their right to an inclusive community which supports them and their families. http://www.kids.org.uk/
