Establsihed 1983 by Chaaban ZEIDAN, the eyecare centre grew from strength to strength and currently providing eyecare to some 11,000 clients. Zeidan Centre is an independent fee based ophthalmic centre with specialist interest in Contact lenses, abnormalities of the cornea/ keratoconus, orthokeratology, paediatric contact lenses, cosmetics and prosthetics. We have extensive knowledge in Low Vision Aids, innovation in prognosis and therapy for Dyslexia and Academic Skills Disorders, ADHA, ASD, Contrast Sensitivity Disorder, Specialist and exclusive computer programmes for development of academic skills,  Dry Eye Syndromes, Glaucoma as well as routine eyecare.

Whether glasses, contact lenses, Low vision aids, prosthetics, educational or simply eye care awareness.  We were probably the first optometrists to offer the all in one price back in 1983- the first optometrists to offer easy payment standing order in 1984, the first innovative Programme for Academic Development for dyslexia And learning disorders.  The first Optometrist to hold frames fashion show and contact lens show at the Belfry Hotel 1987 and 1990. Innovation and use of technology being our affront path to maintain an elite service to our clients- 11 national awards confirms such achievement.

We would like to believe that our Service is second to none.  Our personal care in providing a service that we believe empathise with our clients’ visual needs probably make us the optometrists of choice to many. Our client base spreads from Staffordshire to every corner of England, Ireland, UAE, Holland, France and Spain. Our products are universal and world famous in quality and safety delivering excellence in both visual needs as well as optical quality. With over 30 years of ophthalmic experience, we have seen clients return year after year, generation after generation. Nominated for Customer Care and Customer service awards on four consecutive years, humbles us and makes us aware of the precious commodities bestowed upon us by our clients; truly appreciated.

Our Investment, it is of 2 parts:  the first part is that investment in both staff in order to ensure delivery of quality service. Improving staff knowledge through training with the Spectacle Makers Company clinical advancement programme and establishing qualification improves knowledge and delivery of service as well as enhances self esteem and pride in service delivery.

The 2nd part is our equipment- we probably have the most advanced technology in optometry-Digital Refraction and computerised image net system that allows accurate identification of visual errors easily without having to second guess the question.

Currently we are evaluating the latest technology  the  i-Vue Ocular Coherence Tomographer for deep retinal analysis- Macular degeneration, glaucoma diabetes and other related vascular disorders.

 

iVue compact SD-OCT
ZEIDAN EYECARE CENTRE is proud to announce the acquisition of the Optovue, a pioneer in 4D-Fourier/spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (OCT), the new iVue compact SD-OCT has received FDA 510(k) clearance on April 29, 2010.

Manufactured by Optovue, one of the fastest growing firms in ophthalmic history and developer of the RTVue-100 unit, The iVue incorporates Spectral Domain technology allowing for 5 micron resolution imaging and providing  Zeidan Consultants with excellent information and easy to read reports.

The Medmont E300 Corneal Topographer is a renowned market leader in corneal topography, offering superior patient comfort and accuracy and the robust features that come from working in the Medmont Studio integrated software environment. E300 is a computerised Video-Keratometer, using Placido rings to map the surface of the human cornea. The results of patient exams can be used to assist in refractive surgery, orthokeratology, general corneal pathologies and accurate contact lens fitting. Remarkable accuracy in details of the Corneal structure and surface pathology identification.
